Toyota Verso

The history of Toyota Verso cars dates back to 1984 with the introduction of the Toyota Space Cruiser which established the company as a pioneer in the MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) segment of the automobile market. It is a compact vehicle that is rated as a 5+2 seater' and was first introduced in March of 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show as the Corolla Verso's successor the first generation of which was launched in 2002. Today Europe and South Africa are the only locations that Toyota Prius sales are being conducted with a diesel version of the vehicle also available in South Africa.
